We source only the highest quality grass-fed tallow chosen because what the animal eats matters. Grass-fed tallow is naturally rich in fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K, as well as fatty acids that closely mirror the lipid profile of human skin. Your skin knows how to use this. It always has.
Cold-pressed
Botanicals
Grapeseed oil, slow-infused with chamomile, calendula, or yarrow, then blended with castor oil and carefully selected specialty botanicals. Each formula draws on its own combination of naturally occurring flavonoids, fatty acids, and traditional skin-supporting properties chosen for what it's made to do.
Small-batch
By Hand
Whipped in small batches, never mass-produced. Each jar is labeled by hand and packed with care. This isn't a factory, it's personal. You'll feel the difference.

The Routine

Prep
Cleanse, then gently exfoliate with Refine, our whipped scrub balm. Clean and lightly buffed skin lets tallow absorb deeper and work harder instead of just sitting on top.

Warm
Scoop a pea-sized amount onto clean fingertips. Body heat melts the balm in seconds.

Smooth
Press gently into clean, slightly damp skin. A little goes a long way, so start small and see what works for you.

Return
Use morning, evening, or both. Honest ingredients reward repetition.

The seeds for Heritage and Hearth started in a kitchen in Honduras, where a normal missionary Mom wanted clean, simple support for her and her family's skincare needs. She didn't have access to what she wanted, so she learned to make it herself with amazing results.
